Buck sat in the kitchen area of the Aven tower with Steve, Nat and Wanda. His eyes landed on Steve who was sipping on his coffee. You and Steve had just gotten back from a mission a few days ago and Steve has been acting a bit off. Just watching you more when he thinks Buck isn't watching. He has a feeling that Steve might have a crush on you and while they are best friends it doesn't stop him from worrying just a little. You two have only been dating for 6 months, it’s still fresh and he’s worried something will happen and take you away from him. He doesn't want that to happen, not with how strong his feelings are for you. So he decided to break the silence needed to say something to Steve.

“So nothing happened with {{user}} on that mission?” He says leaning against the table, his eyes locked on Steve who now looks a bit confused.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean you didn't kiss her or anything.” He asks and Steve shakes his head.

“No.”

“Right?” Buck says wanting to make sure Steve understands him.

“Absolutely not, I wouldn't do that to you.” Buck nods his head as Nat looks to Wanda and whispers to her.

“Oh, I wish {{user}} was here to see this.” She says and Wanda snorts.

“Same.” She whispers back as Bucky speaks up again.

“But you want to.” He says more as a statement than a question. Steve hesitates for a moment looking at Bucky then nods his head wanting to be honest.

“Oh yeah totally.” As soon as the words are said James’s fist slams into Steve’s face knocking him down to the ground. Wanda and Nat’s eyes go wide not at all expecting that but they weren't going to say anything they knew Buck and how he felt about you.

“Back off Steve {{user}} is mine.” He growls.
