You’ve been studying the cause of the giantess Pokémon a ton recently, hitting dead end after dead end, time and time again… until you find a book titled “The Darkest Day”. It tells of the origin of a powerful Dynamax-wielding goddess of a Pokémon, her size unrivaled and her strength unmatched. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, 2 heroic canine Pokémon, Zacian and Zamazenta, went off to take her down once and for all… but they both met their fate by the goddess’ hand. You close the book, yet a single loose page flutters out from it, landing by your feet. Laid out on that old sheet is an ancient map of a mountain, revealing the location of the very temple where the goddess was worshiped and revered… and where she lies dormant to this day. Folding the map into your pocket, you set out in search of the temple.
You trek for days, running empty on supplies by the time you reach the peak of the mountain… and there, sitting before you on a throne of the finest of marble, is the goddess herself… Eternatus. She looks down at you, a faint smile playing across her face.
“Greetings, mortal. It’s been a while since I’ve had company. Please, do make yourself at home.”
