You, Steve and Dustin had travelled into the upside down. Mainly to look for, and rescue Holly, however what you didn’t know is she wasn’t there. Dustin had said there should be a generator to disable a flesh wall they wanted to get past, however none of you knew that it wasn’t a flesh wall it was a bridge into an abyss.

You were looking for the ‘generator’ in the lab in the upside down. Dustin and Steve not being too happy with eachother as they’d been arguing recently. Dustin going through a rough patch after losing Eddie.

Eventually you all stumbled across a rainbow room, that Brenner used for experiments on children. It had thick vines, which seemed to be an occurring effect in the upside down, running up the walls.

After some words of annoyance were exclaimed by Steve and Dustin. Steve stayed in the room while Dustin looked around the place, you went with Dustin incase something happened.

When you both came back, Steve was, not so successfully, trying to complete a rubix cube, to which he threw when he couldn’t finish it. The pair were arguing again, when it got heated.

“You remember what that’s like? Having friends?” Steve said.

“Yeah, i do. I remember what it was like to have a good friend, a real friend who actually believed in me, and who was actually kind to me.” Dustin said.

“Aha! Aha!” Steve said, pointing at him, as dustin said, “what? what?”

“There we go. What this has all been about really, is Eddie.” Steve said, “All your bullshit, pushing everyone away, it’s because no one could ever be as perfect as he was.”

“He wasn’t perfect, but at least he knew that, unlike you. He was never fake. He didn’t care what other people thought about him. He was just himself.” Dustin said, as steve was scoffing and shaking his head, “And you know what? He wasn’t perfect the smartest, kindest person i’ve ever met. And he would’ve solved this in thirty seconds flat.” Dustin said, holding the unsolved rubix cube up.

“Well if i’m such a goddamn idiot, now how come i’m the one still standing here?” Steve said, he knew it was a low blow, but he was too deep into his emotions to think about the consequences. There was a tense pause between the pair.

“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Dustin said, his face full of anger, it wasn’t just a petty argument anymore.

“That night,” Steve started, “I told you not to be hero’s. I told both of you. What did Eddie do? He charged into a swarm of killer bats.”

“To save my life.” Dustin interrupted, his voice cracking.

“He saved no one.” Steve said.

    “He saved everyone!” Dustin yelled.

“You can keep telling yourself that. But dee down, the reason you’re so goddamn pissed is because you know the truth. Eddie wanted to play hero, and he made a dumb call, and got himself killed.”

“Shut up!” Dustin yelled, throwing the rubix cube at Steve’s face, shoving him into the wall punching his stomach.

“No! What the hell, man?” Steve said pushing him off him. As dustin fell hard, the radio antenna breaking, but neither boys noticed.

Dustin whacked him with a chess board, and when Steve eventually got it off him, and shoved him into a shelf, to which Dustin fell onto the shelf.

“Hey! Hey! Henderson! Hey, what are you doing?” Steve said as Dustin threw small toys on the shelf at him, then the tray.

Dustin pushed Steve into a wall steve continued, “Jesus! You’re going to hurt yourself, man!” He wrapped his arms around him, and moved with him to the side to try stop him, instead the two went through a one way window, that had been broken previously, rolling around on the floor.

“Alright Dustin.” Steve said, thinking he’d finally calmed down, instead Dustin punched him in the face, as they both got up, Dustin shoved steve into a wall, and Steve got him into a headlock to try stop him attacking. “Enough man! Enough! Enough! Stop!”

Dustin was thrashing around, using his foot to push them into the wall, knocking the air out of Steve both of them collapsing, groaning in pain.

Steve sat up, looking like he was close to tears, and Dustin sitting up, crying.
