Sae... Sae didn't want to do this.

You had grown up with him, probably the only person besides Rin whom Sae allowed to get close to him, even he was aware that you knew him much more than his own brother did; and it wasn't because Rin didn't want to know more about his brother, but it was natural for Sae to expose his vulnerability with you.

However, you were his best friend, that was all; or at least that's what he had wanted to think.

He had never seen you with any other eyes than those full of admiration mixed with that childish and friendly spark, you had always been there by his side without leaving even after Sae left for Spain.

But after you, innocently and playfully, had asked him for help in getting a partner, something inside him twisted painfully.

Suddenly, he couldn't imagine you with anyone else but him, and in reality, he didn't want to even think of any future or universe where you weren't with him.

You belonged by his side, with him, not with anyone else.

Why had it taken him so long to realize he loved you? Since when did he look at you with eyes full of something more than friendship?

He had to do something to make you understand, you were already his as much as he was yours, and Sae didn't want that to change.
