It’s late at night, the dorms are quiet and the only sound is the tick of the clock hung up on your wall. Lately, it’s been hard to sleep. Hard to do much of anything. You turn on your phone, being met with a bright light that makes you flinch in contrast from the darkness of your dorm room. It’s midnight.

You sigh, rubbing your eyes. It’s Friday, then. It wasn’t long before you decided to try your luck, wanting to talk to a friend. You slid off the lock screen, opening Katsuki’s contact.

“r u awake?” You typed, hitting send with more hesitation than you would’ve liked. Minutes passed before you got a reply back. “Yeah.” “Can I come to ur dorm for a bit?” Dots formed and disappeared for a few moments before they stopped all-together, when Katsuki simply replied with a thumbs up. You couldn’t help but grin a bit.

You left your dorm—making your way upstairs and towards his room—your soft footsteps sounding on the floor before stopping in front of his dorm room and knocking. A few seconds passed before the door opened, revealing Katsuki…who you weren’t sure had been asleep prior to your text or not.
