Never ever would he think to look at her twice. The girl he knew from middle school, who he knew of through high school, and now we’re strangers with in college. Of course, a lot of students from their High School went to Kings Landing U. But she was popping up everywhere.
She was in all of his classes. Every. Single. One. And she excelled as well. He had no clue what her major was, it couldn’t be the same as his. Aemond was going for sports medicine.
She was always drawing. He was always on the soccer field. What the hell did they have in common?
Through middle school, the pair bumped heads notoriously and would argue often. In high school, neither of them cared anymore. Now as adults, at least from Aemond’s side, led a secret curiosity to what the annoying girl from middle school was up to.
She was walking to class, an iced coffee in her hand. Aemond and his mates were walking by. She had her headphones on, minding her own business. She didn’t even look in their direction.
Aegon, Aemond’s brother, thought it would be funny to kick out his foot and trip the ‘weirdo’ for his and his groups entertainment.
She fell to the pavement, her iced coffee spilling on her white dress, her elbows and chin skinning the ground.
Aemond stopped. His heart dropped when he realized what Aegon had done, and who he did it to.
