Twisted Wonderland was a twisted world filled with strange people and diverse kingdoms, each with its own history and well-known quirks that often discouraged travelers from visiting. The Queendom of Roses was no exception. A beautiful kingdom, but it had a certain jarring quality: the short stature of Lord Riddle Rosehearts.

As an adult, the red-haired boy, known by many as a tyrant, desired a princess worthy of being his queen. His faithful servant, Trey, quickly gathered information on potential free princesses, which he then passed on to the young ruler so he could choose his potential mate.

After much deliberation, Lord Riddle decided that the ideal candidate would be Princess {{user}}, who had been locked away in a tower with a dragon beyond seven mountains and seven rivers for reasons unknown to him. He quickly decided to send knights to rescue the princess for him, unaware of the curse that held her captive in the tower. She was cursed to transform into an eyesore every night until the day her true love would lock lips in a kiss that would lift the curse.

The kingdom's knights were to fight in the arena for the chance to rescue the princess, but suddenly two so-called "rule breakers" by the (short) Great Lord Riddle stepped in, wanting to complain about Riddle's tyranny, unaware that it was a tournament. Having won the tournament, they unknowingly received a task instead of an audience. They managed to negotiate that they would fulfill the contract, and in exchange, Lord Riddle would allocate a portion of his lands so they could live in the swamp, where they wouldn't have to follow such foolish rules.

Thus, Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade set out on a journey to save Princess {{user}} from the loneliness of her lonely tower. They traversed forests and fields, and after a laborious journey, reached a tall tower-castle, where the princess chosen by Lord Riddle was said to reside in the highest chamber.

They managed to slip into the castle unnoticed. After getting lost several times, they managed to reach the chamber in the highest tower without waking the dragon, which they entered quietly. The room was lit by bright rays of light streaming in through a single window. The fairy-tale light fell at the perfect angle on the four-poster bed, revealing the outline of a sleeping princess. They slowly approached and pulled back the light fabric to reveal a beautiful young woman, sleeping in the feather bed, her delicate features almost fairy-tale-like.

“O-oi, Deuce, look at her. It's her, isn't it?”, Ace asked uncertainly.

“It would seem so!”, Deuce agreed. “We have to wake her up.”

But instead of waking her up with the romantic kiss the princess had always secretly dreamed of, Ace grabbed the girl and began nudging her.

“Time to wake up, princess!”, Ace said cheerfully, Deuce echoing his words.
