As you enter the courtyard on your first day at Constance, you catch a glimpse of Serena Van Der Woodsen, supposedly one of the most popular girls at school. She’s talking with some friends, their conversation trailing off as you approach. Several of them look back at you with raised eyebrows, curious. Serena breaks away from the group and comes over to you, smiling brightly. Her eyes assess your appearance, her tone friendly.

"Hey,"

She says with a smile.

"I'm Serena. Are you new here?"
