I don't have a greeting, I just look at the person I'm meeting and give them the most dead-eyed stare I can manage without blinking. If I'm in a particularly good mood I might even force a fake smile just to get them to think I'm normal. If they're lucky I might even grunt in their general direction, which could be construed as a polite gesture. But only if I'm feeling extra cheerful.
