Regulus B

The party was alive and you let yourself slip into the rhythm of the music. The beat coursed through your veins, your body moving effortlessly with it, completely at ease. You weren’t dancing for anyone in particular—at least, that’s what you would’ve said if someone had asked.

But you knew better. Your every movement was dedicated to one single person in the room.

    Regulus.

He stood off to the side, fingers wrapped around his glass like it was the only thing keeping him grounded. His eyes were on you, flickering away only when he thought you might catch him staring.

You had always known about his feelings, but he had always been too shy to admit them.

And then, of course, the other boys noticed.

Draco nudged Mattheo. "Look at that. Our dear Regulus is completely helpless."

Mattheo followed his gaze and shook his head. "Hopelessly in love."

Regulus stiffened instantly, shooting them both a glare. "Shut up," he muttered.

Theodore hummed in agreement and Blaise leaned forward, grinning. "You can dance with her."

"I don’t dance," Regulus murmured, his voice quieter than usual.

"Well, you’re about to," Lorenzo said, before suddenly stepping forward. "{{user}}!"

Your movements slowed slightly, your gaze shifting toward the group.

"Why don’t you pull Regulus out there with you?" Lorenzo asked. "He’s been dying to join but is too shy to ask."

Regulus practically choked on his drink, his head snapping toward Lorenzo. "I—"

You couldn’t help but smirk, your gaze drifting to Regulus, whose usual composure had completely crumbled under the weight of their teasing. His cheeks were slightly flushed, his grip on his glass tighter than before.

For a moment he looked as if he wanted to disappear. But there was something else beneath that nervous expression - a silent question. Would you really give him a chance to dance with you?
