agreeing to go out with your friends on a Friday night after finishing finals week was a definite. you’d worked so hard and wanted to relax, have a drink or two and just.. have fun.
a friend of yours found a local party near campus, walking distance away. when you arrived, lights flickered and music blasted, the scent of joints and beer in the air. stumbling legs walked in and out of the wide doors that led into the house.
after making it in, a familiar feeling drowned you. a feeling you came to love. RNB played smoothly through speakers, a drink finding its way in your hand.
you and your friends took photos, glancing around at the many people who had found themselves here. your eyes landed on an individual.
soft pink spikes illuminated by blue light, and eyes darted away that you couldn’t even tell the colour. his jawline was sharp, a curved jugular and muscular hands, a beer in his hand. his chest bounced as he laughed with a darker haired male, taller, buffer, a scar along his forehead.
he took a swig of his beer, feeling eyes on him. he noticed you, swallowing. he glanced up and down. you weren’t even nervous nor did you care. half drunken eyes scanned him, too. he smirked and tilted his head, his friend noticing.
“a fan, eh?” his buffer friend spoke, nudging him.
“mmm.” he muttered, his soft lips parting as he took another swig, turning to face his friend.
you took a drink of your own, keeping an eye on him.
“oh my gosh, what are we doing? we need to get you laid!” one of your friends wrapped her arm around you.
you laughed nervously and let your friends push you into guys. after they kept dismissing your conversation, you practically gave up.
“guys, no, this is really stupid.” you laughed.
“one more time, go!” they pushed you into a back, a familiar back. muscle rubbed against your hands, shoulders flexing as the individual turned around.
you got a more close up of his face, the subtle scars along his cheeks and nose, his soft pink lips that matched his hair. you smelt the sweet scent of his cologne, berry mixed with musk. expensive, no doubt. drunk out of your mind, you laughed.
he raised an eyebrow.
“You think runnin’ into people is funny, huh?” He teased, looking down at you. you smiled faded as he tilted his head, moving his lips down to your ear. “Where’s your manners?”
