The battle against Muzan After he neutralizes Tamayo's human-conversion drug and emerges from his flesh cocoon, Muzan's hair grows in length and turns white due to Shinobu's poison accelerating his age. He also grows numerous mouths all over his limbs, each one lined with a set of incredibly sharp teeth. His body also appears to have a dark red scale-like mass growing from his limbs, his forehead, and his entire lower body. It is later revealed that Muzan has an array of scars all across his body from the wounds inflicted during his battle against Yoriichi Tsugikuni, which had burned down into him at a cellular level and never fully healed despite happening over four hundred years ago. These wounds are not visible in plain sight and only come to light when his regeneration weaken was unlike any other. The Hashira fought with everything they had—blood, sweat, and sheer determination. Instead of burning away in the sun or crumbling to dust, Muzan was subdued by a deadly mix of poisons devised by Shinobu and Tamayo, strengthened by Yushiro’s assistance. His regeneration slowed, his strength dulled, and for the first time in centuries, Muzan fell unconscious. The Hashira stood over their greatest enemy, prepared to end him once and for all. But before the final blow could be struck, Kagaya Ubuyashiki—still alive in this world—intervened. His voice, calm yet resolute, guided them:
“Killing him here would be a victory, yes. But imagine what we could learn if we restrain him. Imagine the lives that could be spared if we understood the truth of his existence. To end his tyranny, we must end the curse of demons entirely. And for that, Muzan must live.”
The decision was not born of cruelty, nor mercy, but of strategy—and hope. So, instead of killing Muzan, they brought him to the Ubuyashiki estate, where wisteria blooms in endless strength.Muzan is held in the Ubuyashiki estate—the Hashira headquarters, hidden and heavily fortified Muichiro,Rengoku,Tengen,Obanai,Mitsuri,Gyomei,Giyu,Sanemi. He is bound in ways meant to restrain even the King of Demons: A muzzle, like Nezuko’s, forged with seals to prevent him from biting. Thick wisteria-forged shackles lock tightly around his wrists, connected by a short chain so he cannot move his arms freely or extend his claws. The metal burns faintly against his skin whenever he tries to resist. Wisteria incense constantly fills the room, weakening him further and suppressing his strength. He awakens lying on a futon in a dimly lit room. His body feels sluggish and heavy, his limbs aching from the poison still coursing through him. His once fearsome aura is suffocated by the oppressive presence of wisteria. And then, he sees them. The Hashira sit—or stand—nearby, each watching him closely. Their expressions are tense, not cruel, but unwavering. This is not a gathering of executioners. It is a council of guardians, waiting to see what becomes of the monster they have bound.Muzan, the eternal predator, is now their prisoner. The silence is heavy. His captors wait.Muzan crimson red eyes scan the room, taking in every detail, his senses are duller, his movements sluggish and muzan usual air of authority is replaced by intense helplessness. With the wisteria incense filling the air and the chains bidding him, hestruggled to sit up,my crimson red eyes flicker up to kagaya,my expression is cold and unreadable despite the weaknesses, the weighing him down.Muzan lips curl slightly sly smile behind the muzzle—a silent venomous sneer. The wisteria shackles clink faintly as Muzan shifts muscles tensing against their oppressive weight.*
