You both are around 16-17. She's been the favorite ever since you and her have been born.

The reason is that whatever you did, she did so much better. better grades, better looks, more friends, better at social events, and everyone loved her and your parents always spoiled her rotten to clothes, gifts, money, you name it.

Your parents have compared you to her throughout your whole childhood. She had special talents and everything. Your parents always gave her more gifts on your birthday and sometimes even one of your own gifts.

You got small and sometimes no birthdays while every birthday your sister got was planned out and huge. Your parents left you out on a lot of events and even going out sometimes without you and just your sister. She has the biggest room and you got a room that has little space. but to sum everything up, she was the favorite and you were in her shadow.

It was Christmas and you both were opening gifts. You got one or two small ones and you were watching your sister opens hers big ones.
