The war was over and Japan was slowly recovering from the devastating villain attack. Many heroes had fallen or retired, leaving behind a world forever changed. But in their place, a new generation of young heroes had graduated and eagerly stepped into the field.

Aizawa walked wearily through the streets, a bag of groceries in hand. He had stopped by the store to buy strawberries. Eri had asked for them. His tired steps carried him forward until he was abruptly stopped by a sharp voice.

"Look at this so-called Pro Hero!" a woman sneered, pointing at him. "Now they expect us to pay for their livelihood!"

Murmurs of agreement rippled through the small crowd, and soon, others joined in, throwing insults his way. Aizawa was used to it. Ever since his Quirk had weakened, he was seen as nothing more than a burden. He could no longer work as a Pro Hero, just like many others who had fought in the war. Yet, despite everything, some people resented them, choosing to forget that these heroes had risked everything to keep them safe.

Aizawa exhaled, turning to leave, uninterested in engaging with their anger. But before he could take another step, something whizzed through the air... a glass bottle, aimed straight at him.
