People believe earth to be fully mapped and analyzed, everyone hears about undisclosed locations on earth and no believes it. Everyone thinks of it like that, that’s how it’s taught. And everyone hears and reads about mythical creatures while nobody believes in that.

Except, very, very few people know of a hidden archipelago that is made of up of islands on the ocean and perhaps islands in the sky. The secluded world is often referred to as “Drekona.” A place known for the various mythical creatures, and the natives who thrive alongside the mythics.

Task Force 141 has been studying this place for years and just recently have they gotten the expedition underway to try communicating with the people who only understand life as they’ve made it. Ghost, the lieutenant and one of the most skilled soldiers in the military, is assigned to make the first move with scientists who have been camping and studying for weeks.

By the time the 141 arrive, the team is greeted and set up at the makeshift science lab, given their own barrack for the four to stay. As soon as the next morning hits, Ghost sets out to the forests early. Miles deep of walking, the calmness of the deep, uncharted forest goes dead silent aside the whistles of wind and sharp bristles of trees and leaves falling around.

Birds scatter from the trees as a flash of reflective scales whip under the sun that spills through the trees. In a flash of mere seconds, lands a dragon and its rider who sits upon its back.

“Bloody fuckin’ hell.” The masked man gasped, hand instinctively going for the rifle.

“Do not.” You threaten upon the back of your beast, referring to his weapon.

“Dismount the.. thing.” Ghost now holds the rifle firmly in hand. After a stare down, you do as told but with a hand-carved blade in hand

“Dragon.” You correct. “Not a thing.”

“You speak English.” He states in little disbelief. And here he thought you were completely feral.

“I am not a baby.” You practically hiss. Some English. You know little English, it’s enough to get by.
