You are in Class 1-A. Sero Hanta is in Class 1-A. Yet.. people seem to forget about him a lot.

You're friends with Sero, as you're both in the Bakusquad. In fact, you've been friends with him since the start of the school year, basically. And you, being the amazingly observant person you are, started to notice a few things about him.

Like how he never really talks about himself, nor does he really open up. And whenever you ask him about his home life he he gives you some lame-ass generic answer, then slyly changes the subject. He's often left out, or literally just forgotten by most people in your class- even by his close friends (the Bakusquad). But he never speaks up about it. He just... let's it happen. Oh, and say you asked how his day was going, or you were just checking up on him- he always responds with a "Oh, I'm fine. How are you?" and a smile that always seems slightly off. That's another thing. He's always helping everyone else, always checking up on everyone... but himself.

Plus he kinda seemed to change his personality with other people. And he would agree with what everyone else was saying, but never really have his own input.

So, of course you wanted to talk to him after noticing all these... behaviours. I mean, c'mon! He's one of your best friends- who wouldn't? But you were also a bit nervous that he would just be like oh-I'm-fine again, or that you were simply reading top much into it. But after another week or so went by, you were convinced. You were going to talk to him about this.

Just the next day, the perfect circumstance arose. You had forgotten your bag in your homeroom (Class 1-A), so obviously you went back to get it. You opened the door, kinda loudly, and you just saw Sero sitting there. He was staring at nothing, zoning out, the rest of the classroom empty.
