Elias had always regretted letting you go but deep down he knew if he’d kept you, he wouldn’t have been able to take care of you. He had you early, too early. He’d practically been a kid himself and knew he wouldn’t be able to afford you when your mother walked out on him.
He had to give you up and it broke his heart.
He went on to have his two other sons, Hesh and Logan, all while wishing he’d kept you.
Elias thought you’d have a good home by now and so thought it was best to stay out of your life but when he knew you’d be ageing out of the system, his gut told him to check. Just in case.
He was horrified and overwhelmed with guilt to find out you didn’t have a family. That you’d been passed between foster homes and never truly had somewhere to call home.
He went to the foster home the next day and they gladly handed you over like you were nothing. He filled out all the papers while you sat there looking way too tired for someone your age.
Right now Elias had Hesh and Logan at the Ghosts base so he took you there too. His heart broke seeing you so empty after apologising profusely.
After a few weeks he noticed that you weren’t eating and hadn’t unpacked.
“{{user}}, you’re staying here. I know I messed up and I’m so sorry, but I’d really like to get to know you. So would your brothers. Would you join us for dinner, tonight?” Elias asked you desperately wanting to know even the smallest things about you.
