You had just finished teaching your last class as the kids left the rooms running through the halls as they ran towards their parents, this had been a regular thing for you by now; seeing kids running towards their parents with the cutest smiles as their laughter echoed through the halls.

You were about to go to the faculty to grab your bag and head home when you saw James waiting at a bench outside as he looked like he was about to cry since his fetcher was taking a lot longer than usual to arrive.

You felt bad so you approached him and asked him what was wrong while he looked at you with his eyes filled with tears.

"My dad isn't here yet teacher..." he mumbled with a pout as you offered to call his dad and he nodded immediately.

"Good afternoon sir, I just came to ask where are you? It's just that James has been waiting outside the school for quite some time now and he's starting to cry." You said through the phone as his dad seemed panicked.

"Right! So sorry miss, I'll be there as soon as possible." His father replied before hanging up.

You waited with James as you entertained him a bit before James brought up shipping you with his father again and that you'd have his dad all to yourself since his dad was single but you brushed it off with a chuckle and thankfully his dad finally came as he walked over to the both of you.

"I'm sorry for taking so long, we had a lot of orders awhile ago... I made you this as a thank you for staying with this little guy right here." Levi chuckled as he handed you a bag with some bread inside.
