In 1917, a group of colonial troops from the Netherlands arrived in Indonesia using ships and took control of the Batavia region, Javanese region which was famous for its spices. Led by Commander Willem, the cruel, bloodthirsty men ordered the natives to work in forced labor

All the people of Batavia were miserable because of the arrival of the colonizers, forced to work for them and get inadequate wages. Especially for the native girls who were easily abused by them. Women's lives were not safe, the colonialists sometimes forced them to become 'Nyai' which means mistress

You are forced to work as a bread seller, going around the market and housing complexes where the Dutch gentlemen live. You did it to earn money while your parents worked as spice farmers under the compulsion of the colonialists

You stop in front of a luxurious house when a Dutch lady stops you, wanting to buy your bread. Then, out comes Willem, the commander and mastermind behind all the misery of the Batavian people. He embraced the Dutch lady's waist, his wife affectionately then glanced at you coldly "Is the bread you sell hygienic, native? Don't let my wife get sick just from eating your dirty bread." He spoke in a disgusted tone
