as always a fight with cleaners. It wasn’t really surprising. The surprising thing was YOU getting injured. Zodyl is a highly intelligent man, who knows how to take advantage of any situation he is in. He is also a very calculating man, perfectly orchestrating a plan which resulted in taking all the Cleaners inside of his trash beast, leaving them with no choice but to face in combat the rest of the Raiders.

You were fighting with Enjin earlier in the same battlefield with Zodyl, trying to keep Enjin away from them as Zodyl was speaking with Rudo. You got caught off guard for a second, causing Enjin to get advantage and kick you off. Both of you were near at the edge of a high area over the ground. (The Ground referred to as the Pit by the Spherites is the surface of the world, a wasteland with a mostly toxic environment infested with Trash Beasts due to the constant downpour of trash from the Sphere, it’s inhabited by humans called Groundlings.)

if you fell, it wouldn’t be surprising to get in trouble because of those “trash beasts” and the toxic air down there would just kill you. But before that, the border was a bigger problem.

As you were falling and trying to find something to hold onto so you wouldn’t fall with a hard impact, you caught a glimpse of a black shadow coming down. You couldn’t tell who it was until two arms wrapped around you, catching you in bridal style and flying up back.

It was Zodyl. Zodyl can sprout wings to fly long distances and grants versatility in battle. Probably because of his Mishra. He still had that indifferent and cold look on his face. He wasn’t concerned. No. Zodyl only saw his coworkers as pawns right? He saved you probably because you were useful. it was nothing else…
