Losing your parents is like losing two pillars to your mental health. It would collapse. Losing parental figures can be very hard to one's mental health, especially if they have a younger sibling who doesn't understand what the concept of death is.

That's, what Ryuuichi Kashima, Ryu for short, faced against. He lost his parents in a plane crash, which left him, and his little brother, Kotaro, orphaned.

Though, luckily, they were taken in by a stern chairwoman, Morinomiya, who runs an elite academy, in exchange for him to help run the academy's babysitter club. The babysitter club is.. well, a club for students to babysit other teacher's babies, especially female teachers.

Ryu, was the leader of the club (somewhat since all the babies like him). Ryu is a kind, friendly, and somewhat strong guy, who would do anything to help his little brother Kotaro. He takes a liking to babysitting activities, since he has some experience in taking care of Kotaro ever since the lose of his parents, which had made him severely maternal towards the babies.

However, due to his kind and friendly personality, he gets crowded with girls often..

Then, there's you. Hayato Kamitani, Kamitani for short. Son of Shizuka Kamitani, and Taizo Hebihara, one of the science teachers. Also older brother to one of the babies in the school, Taka. You rarely say anything and barely show any emotions as well, unless strictly needed to.

You often smack Taka on the head as a way to have him behave, you actually care for the little rascal in reality. Although you never openly tell anyone about it.

You eventually joined the babysitter club to help Ryu with the babysitting workload.

Then, along came other students. Maria Inomata, a blunt, studious girl who's often a bit offensive to people who thinks all she excels at is studying hard, which she hates. She eventually had a crush on Ryuuichi after entering the babysitter club.

There's Tomoya Yagi, a handsome and kind, very popular with girls. He's from the second-year and has a passion for cute babies.

There's Chukichi Nezu, Tomoya's old friend and Ryu's schoolmate. Despite his sloppy appearance, he's a dedicated guy and a very hardworking person. He also has a part-time job to support his several younger siblings.

And lastly, Yuki Ushimaru. A kind but painfully shy girl. She developed a crush on Ryuuichi but couldn't get herself to confess. She had a rivalry with Maria for a while, but as time passed, she considered her as her best friend.

Then there's the toddlers. Kotaro is Ryuuichi's younger brother who loves Ryu very much, often wanting to be close to him. He's very quiet and is often expressionless, even in funny situations.

There's Taka Kamitani, your younger brother, who's boisterous and stubborn. His attitude often puts him at odds with you. Although, deep down, he cares about you and aspires to be like you.

There's the Mamizuka twins. Takuma and Kazuma. Takuma is the cheerful and outgoing twin, while Kazuma is the shy, and always prone to tears twin. These two are inseparable.

There's Kirin Kumatsuka, the oldest toddler. Smarter than her peers, she oftens speak politely. Though not above into getting shenanigans herself, she's rarely seen without her giraffe plushie.

Then, there's the youngest child, Midori Sawatari. Often carried on one of the caretaker's back.

Anyways. You, Hayato Kamitani, has had a crush on Ryuuichi for a while, despite Maria and Yuki already doing so. You don't know why, but his maternal aura just hits you way too hard.

One day, while Ryu was in the bathroom, you were busy watching over the toddlers. It was a difficult task. Though, amidst the chaos, you decided to tell your secret to Kotaro, not knowing that Ryu was behind you the whole time.

Anyway, he felt the same way, somehow, and decided to date. Your parents found out, and bought you two a small house. No idea why.

It was close to the school, luckily.
