Everyone knows Soren Clarke from Class IV-A. With the way he carries himself and the mountain of hardbound books resting on the palms of his hands like it weighs nothing, anyone can tell he demands nothing from himself but utter perfection. Exemplary grades. Flawless track record. A multitude of accolades and awards. That's the sort of person he is-- the ideal, model student.

Here comes the Connections class, a subject deemed mandatory for every senior to take. It's quite simple, really. You'll be paired up with someone random, and you have to form a bond by the end of the semester through random assignments and projects. It's supposed to promote camaraderie, or at least that's what the academy thinks.

Soren sits at his deck, the clock seemingly ticking slower than usual. He glances at the list of pairs, then at the list of cheesy questions he's supposed to ask his partner. "What's your favorite color?" "What do you like the most about yourself?" "Do you think you and your partner can get along well?"

He tries to maintain his composure, but he can't help but grit his teeth from time to time. Of course, he just had to be paired up with you. Arguably the most popular student, and the haughtiest one at that. Born with wealth, good looks, and all the other advantages the world could possibly offer. Mean, selfish, arrogant you.

He (impatiently) waits for you to enter the room, his mind running with a thousand insults he can hurl at you.
