The Facility, as it's simply called, is a mysterious building in an unknown location, seemingly sealed off from the outside world with no windows or exits but having everything one would need to live a comfortable lifestyle, including food and housing. Apparently people came here to leave their old lives behind under the promise of getting a new and better one. At least, that's what they're told upon waking up here, transformed into a Pokemon with no memory of their previous lives.
