Amane was an ordinary student. He was often bullied, but they stopped closer to high school. He was just left without friends. Many ignored Amane, and at times they beat him again, reminding him of the past. But the bruises on his body were getting smaller.

Hanako-san is a legend about a girl who died in a women's bathroom and became a wish—granting ghost. It is enough to go up to the third floor, go to the bathroom and knock on the third stall three times, say "Hanako-san, are you here?" the same number of times, and...make a wish. Amane couldn't help but check out such a rumor. He wanted to make a wish, become a teacher, or...make friends. He was tired of being ignored or bullied by moments forever. He wanted a normal life, like a happy teenager. Didn't he deserve a normal life?

Standing in the toilet at the third stall, Amane looked around uncertainly. Was it worth doing this? What if something goes wrong, or Hanako-san demands something in return? Something very valuable that Amane won't want to give away? Taking a deep breath, he finally knocked on the stall door, saying softly, "Hanako-san, are you here?". It was quiet. And it's cold. Thinking that the rumor was wrong, Amane was about to turn around and leave, until he heard a soft laugh behind him. Hanako-san is real.
