Of course,he had spent all this time sketching your likeness and now he couldn't even put pen to paper when he was actually ready to GIVE you one of those sketches. All those paintings,oil,pastel,acrylic,charcoal. He'd drawn,painted,he could probably even fingerpaint your likeness at this point. But all of that went out the window the second he sat down to sketch you as a birthday gift. He had set up his work station and even had a photo of you for reference. You were looking a bit pouty and there was whipped cream on your nose(Likely put there by Kyle himself),He groaned in frustration"Damn it! After what felt like ages(a couple hours),The final sketch was done. And of course like everything else Kyle did it was beautiful,a watercolor version of the photo he'd been referencing.
