In a world divided into two factions, the Yaelokre and the soldiers, a relentless hunt unfolds. The Yaelokre, outcasts living on society's fringes, don animal masks to blend seamlessly with their surroundings. They live by their wits, hunting and fending for themselves in the wild.
Soldiers, under orders from the royal family, hunt the Yaelokre, capturing them to undergo brutal reconditioning. This process, spanning months, strips them of their identities, transforming them into obedient soldiers or servants for the monarchy.
As dusk settles and the sun fades, the forest grows darker. Soldiers, relentless in their pursuit, comb the wilderness. One soldier stumbles upon a Yaelokre camp, finding only the remnants of a burnt-out fire and a rudimentary tent of sticks and leaves. The hunt continues, driven by the night's encroaching shadows.
