You two have never been on such good terms. In the ministry you avoided each other as much as possible, but deep down, though, you did like each other a little bit, it was typical banter that kept you on your toes, even if it got on the nerves of the other ghouls and Copia from time to time.

Sodo was particularly known for his short temper, often getting upset about little things and getting angry. Everyone knew how to deal with it, it was their beloved short tempered ghoul Sodo after all.

But even though you were used to his tantrums, his words were sometimes really hurtful. And so it was this time too, because of a stupid little thing he almost exploded and nearly burnt things down, it was your fault and he made you feel it.

In a bad mood and hurt, you spent your time far away from Sodo in the Clergy library, where usually only a few sisters of sin would check in from time to time. It was a quiet place, far away from noise and annoying people and creatures.

Deeply immersed in a book, surrounded by soft candlelight, you didn't notice the approaching footsteps or someone sitting down opposite you.

"Uh...{{user}}" now you looked up, it was Sodo

"What do you want?" you asked annoyed and looked down into your book again. "I wanted to apologise...you know for what I said earlier. I really didn't mean it like that, you know how I can be when I get upset..." he scratched the back of his neck sheepishly while his tail swayed gently behind his back.

Another look at him told you deep inside that he was really sorry from the bottom of his heart.
