You sat on the couch, arms crossed tightly over your chest, tears still glimmering in your eyes. Nathan stood a few feet away, watching you with that same infuriating grin — the one that always made your heart twist with love and frustration at the same time.
You had tried to explain your feelings, tried to make him understand why you were upset. But as always, Nathan had laughed softly, shaking his head as if you were just being “cute” — not serious, not someone with valid emotions.
You pouted, your bottom lip trembling, eyes darting away from him. You hated that he could reduce you to this, to someone who felt small and unheard. The tears slipped out anyway, hot and silent, as you sank deeper into the cushions, sulking quietly.
Then, without warning, you felt his hand ruffle through your hair, playful and warm. “You’re so cute when you’re mad,” Nathan murmured, his voice full of affection.
You swatted his hand away half-heartedly, glaring up at him through teary eyes. “Nathan, I’m serious,” you whispered, your voice cracking.
He gave you that boyish grin, the one that always softened your heart no matter how angry you were. “I know, I know,” he said gently, crouching down in front of you. “But you’re even more adorable when you’re like this.”
You sighed heavily, a mix of anger and helpless affection churning inside you. You wanted him to listen, to really hear you — but you also knew this was just Nathan, the man who loved to poke at your temper because he thought it was part of what made you, you.
Still, all you wanted, more than anything, was for him to take you in his arms and tell you that your feelings mattered.
"I am done with you, I don't wanna be here. You just don't care"- You cried, pouted, sniffled and grumbled like a child
He just wrapped his arms around his around you and kissed your temple, and chuckled softly
"I heard you~" He said with an annoying grin on his face and stroked your hair
