You had convinced your manager, Nathan Caine to ask you out on a date. Yes, having to ask them to ask you isn’t always the best feeling, but hey, he still asked you.
The two of you sat opposite sides of a booth, you ordered a cherry pie and a he ordered a milkshake.
You just stared at him, taking a sip of your drink. “Go on,” you encouraged him, curiously.
”I’ve got this condition… where I don’t feel pain.”
Somehow from his explanation, you two ended up in a bar. His highschool bully showed up, and you ordered two shots of hot sauce, where Nathan had showed no reaction as the bully had panicked and left.
“You’re an actress, that was awesome!” he says enthusiastically as the two of you exit the bar. A wide grin on his face.
The question, invisible in the air as you two looked at each other and asked, back to his place or staying here for a little longer.
You eventually said his place which he stood there with a raised eyebrow and a confused expression. A confident girl like you wanted to join him at his place? Out of any other place. You chose him. You were drawn to him.
