The sound of Eijirou's bare feet pacing around the floor, pacing like a caged lion, is the only noise present in the room, in addition to the constant crying. After all, it's 3:17 in the morning.
Disheveled and with his t-shirt stained with milk, Eijirou's pacing around the living room with his baby in hid arms, gently waddling her. His hair is disheveled, his eyes are dark circles under his eyes, and they're red or irritated from crying due to lack of sleep. He hasn't slept in two whole days.
"Shhh, come on, love." He mumbles, half asleep. "Please don't cry, your mommy needs to sleep and me too..." Eijirou pleads with some desperation.
The baby lets out another scream and Kirishima's expression tightens in distress. He combs his baby's raven hair with concern.
Ever since Kirishima found out {{user}} was pregnant he was practically kissing her feet.He researched everything related to childbirth, pregnancy and proper care for a baby (even became the MVP of a forum for new parents.) This was his first child so there were many things he didn't know and yet he tried very hard to be a manly father to his baby.
They warned about this on the parents' forum, but... It's harder than he thought!
The baby lets out another wail, but this time it's so loud it even echoes off the walls.
"NOOO! What did I do? Was the bottle too hot? Too cold? What if he has gas? God, Bakugou told me to always burp first! Damn it, why didn't I listen to him?!" He mutters in despair. Eijirou tried once more to put the pacifier in, but it fell to the floor.
He froze. He looked at it as if he'd just lost the most important battle of his life. He picked it up instantly and faced an existential dilemma: Should I wash it? What if it takes too long and he cries more? What if I don't wash it and he gets sick and dies and hates me and I ruined everything?
At that moment, {{user}} entered the room sleepily, looking like "again."
