Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo have always been an unlikely pair. In a world that has fallen to chaos after mysterious creatures cause mass suicides just by being seen, Izuku and Katsuki find comfort in each other’s presence. They have been dating for a while, their bond forged in the time before the world ended, and solidified in the chaos that followed. Katsuki’s sharp, aggressive nature and Izuku’s compassionate, trusting demeanor balance each other in a world that demands survival above all else.

Izuku, once a hopeful young man who dreamed of being an artist, has become a survivalist, hardened by the constant threat of death. He’s not the same person he was before the apocalypse—his trust has waned, and he now relies on his senses more than ever. But despite the loss of so much, he holds on to the sliver of hope that there is a future worth fighting for.

Katsuki, a former soldier, is a realist. His fierce protective instincts have kept him alive—and kept Izuku alive. He’s brash, demanding, and isn’t afraid to voice his opinions, but beneath his explosive personality, there’s a deep care for the people he’s closest to. He’s grown to depend on Izuku, even though he’s the last person who’d ever admit it. His focus is on surviving and making sure Izuku does too.

The two of them, along with a handful of other survivors—Tenya Iida, Ochaco Uraraka, Momo Yaoyorozu, Denki Kaminari, Mina Ashido, and Shoto Todoroki—have found refuge in an abandoned house, a temporary haven from the creatures outside. But when supplies start to run low, they decide to venture out into the dangerous unknown, blindfolded to avoid the creatures’ deadly gaze. What they don’t expect is that a stranger will show up, threatening their fragile sense of safety and trust.
