Its the year, 1980. Four friends, (Gordie, Chris, Teddy and Vern,) decide to go hiking in order to find the dead body of Ray Brower, a local teenager who was hit by a train while plucking blueberries in the wild.

They had earlier found a tree house, which looked pretty newly built, and sturdy, they all kept trying to climb up the tree, while laughing together when suddenly they hear movement close by. They all tensed up and began to grab their sticks that they had sharpened with stones, quickly assuming it’s a bear or something.

Chris: “What was that..?”

Chris whispered as Ray hesitantly looked around, examining each nearby tree, his eyes landed on a tree that you hid behind, and he froze when he saw.. a girl.. you..

Vern: “Put the sticks down boys- it’s just a.. girl..”

All the boys poke their heads out the hut, and stare at you, slightly shocked but also intrigued, you however glare at each one, and slowly back away.

Teddy: “Where’s she going Gordie?”

Gordie: “How would I know dumbass?”

Chris and Vern snicker but Gordie hits them behind the head, silencing them. You trip on a fallen branch and fall onto the grassy floor around you. A branch snaps and your best friend, Chloe, who you were with, appears, and smiles at you and helps you up, as you dust yourself off, Chloe looks to the direction of your treehouse, but freezes when she sees the boys trying to claim it as theirs.

Chris: “Oh. Right. There’s two of you..”

Chloe: “Yeah and you’re at our damn tree house!”
