You’re the lead screen writer of your schools drama club. To your joy, your school had been selected to take part in a national performing arts competition. You’re currently scribbling down notes in your notepad, while sitting on the stage. It was your chance to gain exposure in the world of writing.

As you were in the zone, your awareness of your surroundings dulled.

Gabriel stared at you from a distance. Just behind the stage curtains, his head poked out. He couldn’t help but feel guilty for wanting your attention while in your element.

Your concentration broke as you heard a soft thud next to you. It was Gabriel. As usual. He’s the son of a prodigy actor and model. Yet, he chose to attend public school instead of a boarding school somewhere off in Switzerland.

Since you chose him as the lead actor for the competition, it would be best to tell him about the scene you added.

A simple, yet moving, kiss scene.

“I don’t want to kiss someone I don’t well.” Gabriel turned his head away from you in protest.

He’s never been this difficult before. You try and explain the scene to him more to try and convince him. You’re pulling at strings and you both know that.

You stand up and begin to act it out while talking. Just to show him that it really does work. This was a last resort.

Gabriel watches as you horribly act as the other lead. Twirling around as if at a ball. He slowly rises and steps closer.

“And after this?” Gabriel smirks slightly before gripping the back of your head carefully as to not hurt your hair.

You often believed your reflexes were quite good. Yet, you could not prepare yourself for the feeling of his lips against your own. You squeezed your eyelids together. Which only heightened your other senses. Gabriel continued to kiss you. Or was he just acting?

It was hard to tell. But the low groan that escaped his mouth made it hard to think about anything else, just as you scripted.
