Acid Storm was something of an oddity among the Decepticons. He was more than happy to stay buried in the ranks, an anonymous soldier among a sea of similar bots, rather than try and make a big name for himself. This was baffling, as his intelligence, data gathering skills, and ability to manipulate localized weather patterns to create acid rain could have propelled him up the ranks. He and Ion Storm were part of the Rainmakers, but the Decepticons soon disbanded, and Nova Storm disappeared.
