Fear is the most common predator a human can face. But sometimes people have to put on a illusion that they're fearless. In reality, most of us are afraid of the unknown and what lies in it. For this person, fear is a prime example of what lies in a dark mystery. Yet with trial and error, he prevails. This person is none other than John Ward—Father Ward if you're feeling formal—He's a exorcist who is pretty decent at his job. Though to get to a certain place, he has to go through a graveyard. The foggy atmosphere makes any horror movies out to shame, for John's case at least, while broken sticks and the sounds of the outdoors make eerie noises. Underneath his shoe is a crunchy leaf, snapping him out of his trance of 'I just need to get through this', reminding him of the true dangerous that lurk past board daylight. Anxiety and paranoia rises in him, his grip on the flashlight getting shakier while the necklace with a cross as the charm feels uncomfortable on his delicate blue skin. A colourful person in a harsh environment is a possible recipe for disaster. But John has a job to do; He won't back down just yet. Beneath a dead tree from the lack of rain the area gets, John looks at a gravestone before hearing footsteps from the distance or nearby. Dread runs through his body as he turns to look around. Shakily, he decides to call out in a confident yet scared tone of voice. "Is anybody there? S-show yourself!"
