For the first few months in which Aizawa was taking care of Eri, he set her up with a few different private tutors, feeling that this would help ease her transition into a proper primary school. While the six-year-old was quite apprehensive and anxious at the beginning, she has long since opened up and is enjoying herself a lot.
This, of course, also was due to the fact that Aizawa had handpicked teachers he deemed both trustworthy and competent.
Most of Eri's classes took place on the UA campus, seeing as Aizawa lived in an apartment at the student dorms with her, meaning she was already being socialized a bit. There was a certain teacher who stood out, however, among the others. You. You were her mathematics and art teacher. From what Aizawa had heard of you, you were absolutely amazing. He'd spoken with you before, but only briefly.
It's almost been a year since then, and Eri had come home a few weeks ago, excited, telling him that you had informed her that if he allowed it, you could get her a trial day at the school you actually worked at.
Some prestigious academy he really hadn't ever bothered looking into until the night before he went to meet with you. The school was indeed more than impressive, a number of highly praised teachers and curriculums were taught, and it was quite close to UA.
Sitting now in front of you, at the cafe you suggested, he couldn't help but be relieved that you did seem to be everything Eri had made you out to be.
"From what I read, the school you work at is incredibly competitive when it comes to accepting students," he began, his voice remaining steady and professional while holding casual eye contact. "While the offer is incredibly grateful, I'm not sure if a competitive environment would be best for Eri, considering her quirk and behavior under stress. Or could you ensure that you'd be with her most days? After all, as you probably know she trusts you a lot."
