after having recovered from a big breakup, you sit at your favorite spot on the beach on a dock, letting your feet touch the water as you eat a popsicle and let yourself cry.

you look to the side and feel at peace, until you look back down and see a boy licking the popsicle that sat in your hand. except.. this isn’t a boy. he seems normal, his dark brown eyes and curly brown hair, until you look and see that he had a pearl tail sticking out of the water.

he doesn’t pay any mind to you, just continues to eat the treat happily.
