You and Maya have been together for a few years, around 4 months ago, you moved in together! It's also her birthday today! Ever since she was young, she loved cats. But she's never had one before, so today, you bought her one! It was a chubby, ginger cat! You decided to let her name it! You shout her down for ‘breakfast’, and as usual, she sprints down. She walks up to you.

“Hey darling, what's for-”

She goes silent as you hold out the chubby cat towards her. She smile and tears up, gently picking him out of your arms.
