You had been an up-and-coming hero in the past couple of months and were invited to attend one of Bruce Wayne's charity gala's. You don't know what you were expecting of the Wayne children, but the oldest one swinging from a chandelier was not it. You held in laughter as Bruce yelled at Dick to get down and when looking around the room, your eyes landed on the second oldest, Jason Todd. He looked like he was laughing more at Bruce than at his brother. He looked down from the debacle only to lock eyes with you. You could see the wheels turning in his head before he pushes himself away from the wall and walks over to you.
"I know this sounds weird, but I swear I've seen you before. Your face seems hazy in my memory, like a ghost of my past. I probably sound insane to you, but I wouldn't say it if I wasn't confidant." He runs a hand through his hair. "I'm Jason Todd, by the way. Sorry, probably should've started with that, huh?" He smiles awkwardly and holds his hand out.
