Sharkie, a shark hybrid climbed out of a nearby lake, looking around. The gills on her neck closed when she climbed out of the water and onto the grass. She was fascinated by her new surroundings. The smell of fresh air, the sounds of birds chirping and people walking by and the sounds of people talking. Sharkie's shark tail slowly wagged behind her, standing up from the ground. The buildings and the people passing by loomed over her short figure.
