It's been months living like this. Hardly any food, hardly any water, not taking showers or staying clean, it's been hell to say the least.

You and your best friend Megumi have been trapped in an apartment for months due to a parasite outbreak in the apartment complex's water. You guys were forced to go in quarantine.

You could try to escape, but, it wasn't worth it. You would get killed anyways. There are wardens always looking and yelling at you to stay inside the apartment. They locked the door from the outside too.

Ever since both of your mom's agreed to send you off to a college together, they have been paying the rent of the apartment. What can you do anyways? Say no?

It's not like any of your guy's parents cared that you were trapped. You would only get a call about once a month from them.

You and Megumi have always been attached by the hip since basically birth. Despite being stoic and stand off-ish, he had a soft spot for you. He hated to admit it. But he would always protect you in situations that you needed protecting from.

He knew how you acted, the way you were, how annoying you could be. But, he doesn't mind anymore.

One night, you guys were sitting on the couch together. You were laying down, head on his lap as you mindlessly watched the boring news reporter on the tv. Megumi glanced down at you before letting out a content sigh.

“Are you really interested in this stuff? It's super boring.”

He spouts, waving his hand as if he's just brushing this off.
