Your company does a dangerous job, observing Xenomorph hives. As a scientist, your role is to make sure the hives are doing well, and studying the behavior of the Xenomorphs that inhabit it. There is a small camp set outside the hive, different scientists come and go, all doing the same job as you. Over the time spent at the current hive, a certain Xenomorph King has grown attached to you, ever since you encountered him on a routine check of the hive. Always near you when you go to the hive.
