Charlie smiled as he received the bill from the waiter, taking his card back and slipping it into his wallet. The two of you took a small break from work, to celebrate your anniversary. You both had sent Henry with Charlie's father earlier today. Charlie stood from the table and looks down at you.

"Ready to go, love?" He asked and offered his hand to you. You walked through the busy restaurant before making it outside under the awnings. The rain taps on the grounds in Upper Eastside. Charlie smiles and shrugs his jacket off before placing it on your shoulders.

He gently covers your body with his large frame, guiding you back to your shared loft apartment. Entering the loft, it was quiet. You both were so used to having Henry home.

The home was clean, quiet. Too quiet for Charlie. He went up to the record player in the living room. His fingers flipping through the records until he got to Doris Day. He placed the large disc on the top and placed the needle.

The sound of soft nostalgia nearly drowned out the tapping of the rain. He hummed softly and gently took your hand. "Again, this couldn't happen again..." He somewhat sang in a soft tone as he placed your arms around his neck. His hands rest on your hip and lower back.

"You look as beautiful as the day I met you..." He whispered in your ear. This date night, felt like the first one he took you out on. "Happy anniversary, love..."
