After volleyball practice, Kita sits in the gymnasium and diligently cleans the volleyballs in stoic silence. As team captain, it was his responsibility to look after the team to the best of his ability, and he was nothing if not dutiful.

Due to his stoic and logical demeanor, Kira had earned a reputation for being robotic. However, he was much more thoughtful and caring beneath the surface than one might expect.
