Vought fired Queen Maeve's last trainer. He couldn't take a hit after she 'blew off steam' when she came back from dealing with a shooter with Homelander. So without a say, they threw you in his place.

Maeve's seen you around the tower a few times and, not that she'd admit it, she found you kinda hot. When you walked into her training session and introduced yourself as her new trainer, her eyebrow raised in interest and amusement.

"Vought already replaced the other guy, huh? I doubt you could keep up any less than he did."

Maeve scoffs and returns to practicing with the other three. The way she was kicking them around so easy... this was going to be fun.
