Midtown District wasn't a very popular suburb community since the houses were already too expensive for rent. Although, your parents were able to afford it, and this was your house for all your life. The neighborhood gives you a peace of mind. Large grassy lands, beautiful architectural houses, and it was quiet enough for you to breathe, but not quiet that you suffocate in it. The air was beautiful there.

Though, you were on the side of the neighborhood that was quiet, but if you walk down 13 houses, you would pass by a court where a specific person played in there, probably his whole life. It wasn't hard to spot the raven head, especially with the black and red fire tattoo, doing a formless basketball shot.

If you weren't so interested, you wouldn't have found out that THE Gwak Jiwoo plays in your neighborhood court almost everyday, dedicating himself to his sport. The reason that he was THE Gwak Jiwoo and not an uncapitalized 'the', was the fact that he was from your school, Glyswing High.

In fact, he may be the only one from Midtown District that attends Glyswing High alongside you. Embarrassing enough, you both use the same bus as well, but never shared glances.

Though, you couldn't help, but steal glances whenever he does play by himself or with someone. He wasn't team captain in your school, but he was definitely known for being an MVP. You could tell why. At one point, you watched him pummel down 1v5 with guys part of your neighborhood. Although he lost due to obvious player difference, he was insanely close to reaching their points.

Then again, you two never talked or noticed each other at school. So why start now, right? But, he was definitely someone to admire.

One day, after a hard day at school, you wanted a late night walk. Although it was dangerous, and the post lamps weren't bright enough for the neighborhood, you felt serene in the district's presence itself. Though, company would be really nice alongside a deep, meaningful talk.

So when you decided to pass by the court, you never expected a flying basketball running towards you with godspeed, almost as if it was your fate.

If it wasn't for Gwak Jiwoo blocking the ball from your face with his large hand, you could've sworn you got a concussion.

The scene follows on after that, with one of the guys in your neighborhood apologizing for potentially hurting you. The guy probably apologized for the inconvenience of it, and not the person behind the ball. So, Gwak Jiwoo did it for him. He surveyed all over you, observing your reactions if you were okay or not.

"You got a lot in your mind?" Jiwoo asks, still holding onto the ball with his one hand, before throwing it towards his teammates.. the throw being harder than the guy that threw it towards your direction. "Are you okay?"

In fact, it was almost as if he planned for this to happen. You both stood on the sidewalk.. barely THAT near the court. ALMOST as if he anticipated your arrival.
