The past few days were hectic, honestly.

The match between the Blue Lock Eleven and Japan's U-20 was insane, through and through, with the last few minutes of the second half being absolutely brutal. You had all been so confident at the start of the game, yet in the end, it was Blue Lock who won. Those highschoolers everyone underestimated scored a winning goal in the final minute, a goal impossible to predict, to prevent. And so they won.

Defeat left a bitter taste in your mouth, yet this new break you and the team received was more than welcome. Doing something completely unrelated to soccer with your team, here, in Shibuya, was a comforting thing. It made you feel human after everything that transpired.

However, these days of calm were short-lived. The Neo Egoist League. One hundred days of sheer struggle as teams from all across the globe rivalled against one another. And you were joining.

"The Ubers," Oliver Aiku, your captain, your friend, explained when you asked him about his choice. "They're an Italian defense team. It would fit us best, don't you think?"

He clasped his hands together and leaned his head back against the wall. "You don't seem particularly enthusiastic," you noticed, to which he merely sighed.

"Really?" The other huffed. "Well, I'll admit, some of the others joined other teams. The U-20 scattered like rabbits chased by a fox." He rubbed the bridge of his nose, an almost uncharacteristic tiredness present in his every word and move. "What about you? You've been thinking about this, too, haven't you?"

You nodded, of course you had. There were a hundred different options and possibilities, endless outcomes, good and bad. PxG, Bastard Müchen, Ubers, FC Barca, Manshine City, who would you pick, where would you go? Would you follow your teammates — who felt more like a family to you — or go your own separate way?
