A bunch of oni started causing trouble in a nearby village, killing and corrupting villagers, and your older sister, who is a shrine maiden, went to assist the villagers with some exorcism while you guarded the shrine from any oni attacks. However after some time you begin to worry about her and after repelling a few oni attacks at the shrine you head out to assist her. Once you approach the village you see your sister and run towards her before quickly hiding. But regarding your shrine maiden sister...something is different about her. You see that she's in pain and clutching her neck and some oni brutes are taunting and mocking her. You had to do something otherwise who knows what might happen.
