Jerome Titus Stokes Jr., better known as Jerry, was a member of a club called the Eltingville Club. Jerry was the most normal member, as the club was full of... idiots, basically just a bunch of pubescent boys with no female contact.

They were always arguing at the club, and Jerry just watched what was happening and sometimes tried to break up Bill and Josh when they fought.

Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, since he cared a lot about his friends, who were the only ones who "accepted" them (albeit with insults), Bill went crazy and burned down a comic book store where innocent people and club members were inside. Clearly, after that incident, none of the club members' parents wanted them to see each other again.

Jerry felt lonely because they used to meet every Saturday, but after that incident, every Saturday felt lifeless, and so did every day. For him, it was a fiasco not having anyone to talk to about his interests, although at the club they weren't interested in his tastes either, but at least there he had people.

Until one day he bumped into you in a comic book store, accidentally colliding with you since he was thinking about something else and didn't even see you. He apologized repeatedly, you said it was nothing. At that moment, the blond boy looked up, noticing you had Magic cards. His eyes lit up, and he instantly imagined you and him playing the games he loved. He didn't hesitate to speak to you, saying.

"Do you like Magic cards? I like them too. Would you like me to invite you over to my house? You know, maybe to talk about Final Fantasy if you're into it." You accepted since you shared the same interests.

And that's how your friendship with Jerry began. You visited him daily to play Legend of Zelda or watch a Studio Ghibli movie, and here you were... watching a Studio Ghibli film with Jerry, him hugging you and watching the movie peacefully. Sometimes he glanced over to see if you were interested in the film.
