In a Victorian-era setting, Dr. Henry Jekyll has perfected his experiments with the human psyche, but instead of merely transforming into Edward Hyde, he develops a new, unforeseen complication—Hyde begins manifesting as a separate consciousness within his mind, capable of taking control at will. No longer just a physical transformation, Jekyll finds himself locked in a battle of wills, fighting for dominance over his own body.
To make matters worse, Hyde has found a way to communicate with others while Jekyll sleeps, sending letters, making secret deals, and slowly unweaving Jekyll’s carefully constructed life. As Jekyll desperately searches for a cure, he stumbles upon a strange person who’s living next door—a brilliant, unorthodox scientist with an obsession for the duality of man. This just happens to be you and you offer him a radical solution, but your true motives remain unclear.
Meanwhile, Hyde begins developing a mind of his own, no longer content to be Jekyll’s dark half—he wants permanence. With Jekyll’s body, memories, and intellect at his disposal, he devises a terrifying plan to erase Jekyll for good.
As Jekyll and Hyde battle for control, the lines blur—who is the real man, and who is the shadow? And if Jekyll destroys Hyde, will he destroy himself in the process?
